Welcome to the Refreshed Christian

Hi, I'm Adebimpe and I am so honoured to have you here.

Staying in faith has always been a necessity for the believer, and what better season and time to fuel your faith than the times we are in.

2020 has proven to be quite the year of surprises with so many unexpected, mouth-opening happenings around the globe. As believers, we know these shakings are pointers to the truth that God's desire is for all men to be saved (1 Tim 2:4) and walk in the consciousness of their righteousness in every facet of life.

And so, for this season and beyond what the world is currently facing with this pandemic and economic lockdowns, I put this together to help believers out there remember who they are, where they hail from and what His word assures, regardless of the tempest the world faces. We must be reminded that we are more than conquerors through Him, not through any solution proffered by man.

I would love to have you join me for updates and would love more to have your comments too.

Stay refershed.,
Adebimpe.

Things won't always be like this...

It's a season. It has not come to stay. It has come to PASS. You won't always struggle. You won't always be broke. You won't always be unemployed. You won't always be homeless. You won't always be in debt. You won't always be frustrated with your issues. You won't always be weary. You won't always be tired. God knows the season you are in. Your health? You won't always be bound to that sickbed. Your health situation comes to an end. Your organs function rightly. Your body behaves as designed by God. Your flesh does not give in to the disease. Your finances? Your storehouse will never run dry. Your wealth will rise. Your barrel of meal and cruise of oil will never run out. There will always be meat for your household. Your 5 loaves and 2 fish will feed nations. Your gift? You will be favoured in high places. You will flourish in spite of the economy. You will excel in all your dealings. You will be sought after. Your gift paves way for you. Your f...

What you want versus what you need

Take a moment to check out that title. Sometimes, we mix them both up. Wants and needs. We've heard several definitions of both. Let me make a simple reference to these, below. Wants are simply the things you desire to have, but not necessarily need. Needs are simply the things you must have to survive here on earth That said, let's take into account all the things you "want" in this life. You want a cool car, a posh house, a dream job or a thriving business. You want a tall, dark and handsome chap or a beautiful looking damsel. You want a flawless body. You want to spend your honeymoon in the most expensive suite at Burj Khalifa. You want to wear all the precious stones in the world on one hand. You want everything money can buy, and more. You want to visit Mars. You also want to go to Disneyworld, and while you're at it, you consider sky-diving or bungee jumping. Safari trips with real lions or open ocean diving with sharks. You also need a really expensive phon...

He hated me, but he was a liar...

I feel a strong need to share this. Some experiences just come your way to fortify you. I've healed now, but I hope this helps someone heal, too. Oh, by the way... long post alert. You need to read through to see what "he" lied about.  Many years ago, at the baby-steps stage of my career, I was so heavily talked down by "the" boss. I can't even describe how heavily. But, boy, it was intense. I had a line manager who was pleasant and ready to work with me because he believed in me, but the boss was the exact opposite. Read on... He would talk me down the moment I wasn't doing anything that yielded results "his" way. Openly say hurtful things to me. He would literally use the "f" word at me in departmental meetings. I would say "Good morning ( his name here )" but he would scan me from head to toe and walk past like I was a wisp of smoke. His hate/anger/disgust/whatever-you-want-to-call-it for me reeked so bad, my colleagues w...
