What’s stopping you?

Do you ever look at your life and tell yourself, “I am much better than this” “I can do so much better than this.” “There is more to me than this.”? If you don’t, then you’ve more or less pitched a tent and accepted your life for what it is. You actually shouldn’t pitch. There’s always the next level for you, but as you ascend “levels” in life, you begin to encounter obstacles and it’s easy to presume that, “well, I’ve achieved so-and-so, so it’s just fine to take a back seat now.” Naaahhh!!! You should stand up and defy your limitations.  Limitations will always be present, all sorts of things/people/situations/experiences will try your faith. Limitations are a reality that you cannot overlook but you can overcome, just like a runner on a hurdle course. He cannot deny the hurdles in front of him but he’s gunning for glory, so he must overcome every hurdle. So, what are some limitations that you’ve been encountering and entertaining? What are those things that are keeping you...

Who???

Who told you? Who told you that you're not pretty enough? Who lied to you that you're never going to amount to anything? Who told you that your past mistakes will forever mar your progress? Who told you that your voice can never bless anyone? Who told you that you dance offbeat? Ha! Who told you your write-ups were not impactful and could never go far? Who wrote you off? Who condemned you? Who made you feel less deserving of God's love because you fell short? Who laid a charge against you? Who crushed and perplexed your spirit? Who discouraged you? Who told you you couldn't do it? Who lied to you that your situation was insurmountable? Who told you the doctor's report was final? Who told you you could never graduate or get a Masters? Who??? Was it your mind? Your friend? Your boss? Your parents? Your guardian? Your abuser?  Who told you you were ugly? Who told you cancer would kill you just because it runs in your family? Who told you that you would forever be defin...

Your "little" is loaded.

I recently had a baby! He's the most precious, priceless, beautiful little human. His curly hair. Brown eyes. Sweet giggles. Heartwarming smiles. Perfection. I recall the gestation season and I remember how I always drew myself back to the reality that this child was formed from something extremely microscopic. Tiny. Invisible to the human eye.  A seed. Well, in this case, a sperm cell, but essentially, that's what a sperm cell is - a seed . Sown into the rich "soil" of the womb. Something so little with the potential to become something so powerful, beautiful, impactful.  It's amazing how a little seed, when planted can go from being a tiny, dry, lonely element to becoming admired, sought after, glorious, magnificent. Mr Farmer knows better. Every seed in his hand holds the potential to the next harvest. Every seed in his possession has the power to become one hundred-thousand-million-billion seeds. But he has a part to play. He has to be faithful. He has to roll...

Dear December...

Hey everyone! Welcome to the most anticipated month of 2020 - December! Phew! While we know that this year has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride, we also know that we are preserved because it is the Lord's will and because His purpose for our lives is greater than any pandemic. Haha! Don't know about y'all, but I am just so grateful for this new month, what a lot of people popularly refer to as the "11th hour miracle month", and I know He is about to make His power known to you. As the days roll past, remember this: God still loves you, everlastingly. God still has a plan for your life. God kept you thus far for a cause, a purpose. God is very mindful of what you are going through, He is touched with the feeling of your season(s). God's word over your life will not return void come Dec 31st. God's promise to you is still as valid as the rising of the sun. God heard your every prayer this year. Yes. He heard you. God can still redeem the time for ...
