Do you ever look at your life and tell yourself, “I am much better than this” “I can do so much better than this.” “There is more to me than this.”? If you don’t, then you’ve more or less pitched a tent and accepted your life for what it is.
You actually shouldn’t pitch. There’s always the next level for you, but as you ascend “levels” in life, you begin to encounter obstacles and it’s easy to presume that, “well, I’ve achieved so-and-so, so it’s just fine to take a back seat now.” Naaahhh!!! You should stand up and defy your limitations.
Limitations
will always be present, all sorts of things/people/situations/experiences will try your faith. Limitations are a reality that you cannot overlook but you can
overcome, just like a runner on a hurdle course. He cannot deny the hurdles in
front of him but he’s gunning for glory, so he must overcome every hurdle.
So, what
are some limitations that you’ve been encountering and entertaining? What are
those things that are keeping you stuck on your present level? Let me list some
fairly relatable ones.
Financial resources?
Material resources?
Limited knowledge?
Discipline?
Personal responsibilities?
Your job?
Family? Children?
No free time?
Believe me when I say, there is always a way. And as sons of God, our Father
gives wisdom for every situation we encounter.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him (James 1:5)
Trying
times are upon us. Times no one anticipated. Times of massive change(s). The
reset year, the refresh year, the restart year. 2020 is definitely one for the
history books. If this year has taught the world anything, it is that there is
ALWAYS a way to get stuff done, no matter the tsunami that hits! The world has
been forced to evolve so much in the past 365 days more than it probably ever
has this entire decade. This is a word to someone - there’s always a way, you
just didn’t want to find a way, so you let those things slide.
Will you
challenge yourself? Will you do something today that you’ve been putting off? Will
you revive that old fire in you? Will you exhume that project? Will you show that person some love? Will you forgive? Will you let God handle that thing you thought you could crack yourself? Will you?
God can only
give increase to what you’ve planted and watered, not what you’ve given up on
or refused to nurture.
